Sean, Bill LaBate, Jim Quirk and I
went to go to McDonald's together just about every single day in 11th
grade. I remember at one point I held the record for consecutive
cheeseburgers eaten - something disgusting like 74 cheeseburgers for
lunch without ever getting anything different. Gross. That
was one of many reasons why it was probably a bad idea to give us the
freedom of doing whatever we wanted over lunch.
Sean, Bill, Jim and I also frequented Taco Casa (which was out of
business before we graduated), and Wendy's.
Those lunch trips
spawned the famous sayings "It's Chewy" and "Sean,
where's the car?" from Sean's "Senior Memories"
below. "It's Chewy" had something to do with my first
experience with those lip-puckering sour gigantic "Chewy
Spree"; and "Sean, where's the car?" was from the day we
left McDonald's and Jimmy Quirk instantly went into a panic when he
didn't see his car right away. |
